I think I will like both the Metal Cobra and the Giant Ant in miniature form.

The Octo diving bell is too magic machine for my tastes (I am not a fan of most magic replaces technology technology)

I am not sure about qlippoth, thulgant.

Are they suppose to look like a upside down mixed up spider toy with three scorpion stingers and a mouth full of anime tentacles, because it loos like a thirteen year old put all the kewl things he could think of together for maximum kewl. On the other hand that is pretty much what Chimeras are, just thousands of years ago kewl.

That's basically what all Qlippoth are like, same as with Lovecraft, "impossible to describe horrible shapes" translates to "take icky creepy creatures like insects, arachnids, cephalopods, deep sea fish and mix them together".

I did mention cephalopods...
And yeah, after years of fantasy novel reading annd playing games, many of Lovecraft's creatures seem... not that special. Like the Dagon stories with their fishmen (Skum, Kuo-toa), the various undead and ghouls, etc.I wonder sometimes how he would have described some D&D creatures to make them seem terrifying.. imagine a Mimic or Gelatinous Cube or Flumph or Spyder Fiend as described by Lovecraft. ;-)

Wow; it was definitely worth the wait this week; lower planes galore! First up is the astradaemon (L, R):

Image

then the (Piscodaemon) venom daemon (M, R):

Image

Then from Abbadon to the Abyss but not demons, starting with the ravenous qlippoth (M, U):

Image

followed by the infectious qlippoth (L, U):

Image

and ending with the gongorinan qlippoth (M, R):

Wow what a crew.! And it looks like several of these buggers will feature in the Return of the Runelords AP. I think this will be the set that finally makes me subscribe.

Yeah, here is the entry for the thulgant http://karzoug.info/srd/monsters/Q/QlippothThulgant.htm; as BB said, super unnatural in the Lovecraft sense.

The name of the article is one hilarious pun too... "Fiendgully: The Last Painforest" :D
The AstraDaemon is one of the few original creation Daemons of Paizo that I really like - it is basically an anthropomorph deep see Viperfish, light organs and expandable jaw and all! I plan to simply use him as some deep sea Sahuagin. Pity he is Rare but given the Keketar's cheapness because it is not a classics D&D creature - despite his cool design - I can see this being cheap too.
Image
Piscodaemon aka Piscoloth is I think the first real Yugoloth-based Daemon Paizo has released as a mini so far. He looks rather weird as if he had grey skin with green chitin plating but also his cephalopod-head is green too - but eh, it's a Piscoloth, I want one. D&D is unlikely to provide one in the sets since 5E did not have these Yugoloths depicted in the Monster Manuals yet - maybe they will be in the Blood War related Mordekainen's Tome of Foes, who knows. Pity it is Rare... will make it pricey.
The Ravenous Qlippoth I am sorry, but I cannot take seriously, with that pose each time I look at it, I just see the flying spaghetti monster, even if this one is made of intestines. :D
Image
The Infectious Qlippoth looks downright adorable with that big puppy dog eye. :D Well that is until you noticethe belly mouth.
I thought the Gongorinans were Large, but maybe I am confusing them with some other Qlippoth. They would make nice crabs, but at a Rare point will be too expensive, plus crabs don't use swords.

LOL! Never played the games, I am guessing in the real game crabs are not so tough enemies?

Every time I look at the Infectious Qlippoth's eye I think "Open the pod bay doors, HAL." :)
